Kingman Regional Medical Center offers six PGY-1 resident positions each year.

Applicants must meet one of the ACGME requirements listed below.

  • Must be a graduate from an osteopathic medical school in the United States accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA)
  • Must be a graduate from a medical school in the United States and Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
  • Graduates of medical schools outside the United States and Canada (foreign medical graduate FMG) must possess a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), or, have a full unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing jurisdiction in which they are training.
  • Graduates of medical schools outside the United States, who have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.

The academic year begins July 1st.


Beginning in the 2025-2026 Match season, KRMC Emergency Medicine residency will utilize the ResidencyCAS Program. Applicants will need to follow the steps outlined in the ResidencyCAS Applicant Worksheet. 

Appointments are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), which requires registration in addition to ResidencyCAS.

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited for an interview with the Program Director and selected Faculty. Interviews are conducted from mid-October to mid-February each year.

If your COMLEX and/or USMLE scores are unavailable at the time of ranking, you will not be eligible to be ranked with the NRMP.
