Kingman Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Ahmed Mahgoub to Kingman Pulmonary Associates. Dr. Mahgoub specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He provides care to patients with lung disease in the clinic and to critically ill patients in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

Dr. Mahgoub attended Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt before completing his residency in internal medicine with Zucker School of Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital in New York.

He chose his specialty based on a personal experience. In 2013, his mother was diagnosed with cancer, and treatment was difficult for her. “It involved multiple trips to the ICU,” said Dr. Mahgoub. “So, I know how important it is to explain the disease process to families and take care of them psychologically as well.”

In 2021, Dr. Mahgoub completed his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Virginia Tech’s Carilion School of Medicine. He then served as an attending physician and taught medical courses at the State University of New York.
