Kingman Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Gregory Nelcamp as the health system’s new Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Nelcamp practiced anesthesiology for 20 years, specializing in care for open-heart procedures, intensive care patients, and high-risk obstetrics procedures. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Nelcamp has many years of experience in physician leadership and healthcare management roles.

In 2011, Dr. Nelcamp earned his Master of Business Administration degree with a healthcare focus from the University of Tennessee Physician-Executive program.

He joins KRMC following more than five years as a Chief Medical Officer with two regional health systems, most recently with Mon Health System in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Dr. Nelcamp will succeed Dr. Thomas Gaughan, who has retired as KRMC’s Chief Medical Officer after seven years.

As Chief Medical Officer for KRMC, Dr. Nelcamp plans to use his diverse background in clinical care and healthcare administration to help physicians to drive quality and patient care.

“I see this system as the future of healthcare in our region,” said Dr. Nelcamp, “and I would like to be an agent of change.”
