About Me
Lynnette Garman is an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
As a nurse practitioner in the hospital’s Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), Garman provides advanced nursing care to adults and elderly patients with a range of conditions. She performs health assessments, orders and interprets tests, and otherwise manages the treatment of hospitalized patients.
Garman has experience in many areas of patient care; she worked as a registered nurse at KRMC for 18 years before transitioning to her current role. She chose to further her education to have a more direct impact on the health and wellbeing of her patients.
In fact, her care centers on helping her patients become their own health advocates. "I strive to make sure I communicate in a way each patient will understand and give them the knowledge they need to prevent disease. "
Garman is an advocate for students pursuing healthcare careers. She frequently speaks to local high school classes about their future opportunities. Garman was raised in Kingman and said, "I really want to make a meaningful contribution to our community. "
Education: Grand Canyon University, Master of Science in Nursing
