About Me

Dr. Brandt attended Baylor University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Following a surgical internship at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dr. Brandt completed a four-year residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.

As a radiologist, Dr. Brandt uses advanced medical imaging technology to detect and analyze disease and/or damage in internal organs, tissues, and bone. Specifically, he specializes in interpreting X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI scans, CT scans, and nuclear medicine scans, including PET. He is also skilled in image-guided medical procedures such as inserting catheters in veins, draining abscesses, or performing biopsies, procedures that have become safer and more efficient with the aid of imaging technology.

Of his radiologist colleagues at KRMC he says, “We work as a team to provide the best possible care of the patient. Our training in groundbreaking radiology techniques along with KRMC’s advanced imaging technologies presents a very unique opportunity to help a lot of people. This is why I chose to go into medicine in the first place.”
