Kingman Regional Medical Center announces Leslie Martin, MSN, RN as the health system’s new chief nursing officer. As CNO, Martin leads KRMC’s nursing staff, directing efforts to manage resources while delivering high-quality patient care.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology from San Diego Christian College before returning to Mohave Community College to obtain an associate degree in nursing. She then continued her nursing education, earning a Master of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University.

For much of her 20 years with KRMC, Martin worked in the surgical services department. She partnered with KRMC’s radiology providers in 2012 to expand interventional radiology services within the hospital.

In 2019, Martin transitioned to nursing administration leadership, advancing to assistant chief nursing officer in 2021. Since February of this year, Martin has served as interim chief nursing officer.

Martin is dedicated to facilitating compassionate and high-quality nursing care. Regarding her promotion to CNO, Martin said, “The past few years have been challenging for all of us, and our nurses have felt the strain. My goal is to create a positive, healthy work environment that consistently achieves quality patient outcomes.”
