Well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. At Kingman Regional Medical Center, we make every effort to provide nutritious, great-tasting meals according to the diet prescribed by your doctor.
We will provide you a restaurant-style menu tailored to your prescribed diet. Each day a Food Service Ambassador will visit your room to take your meal order. If we miss you or if you want a between-meal snack, please call our Diet Office at ext. 1552 to place your order.
Patient meal service
Patient meals are served at the following times:
Breakfast 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Dinner 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
If your meal has been delayed due to a test, surgery or other procedure, your nurse will inform our Diet Office when you can safely resume eating. We will bring you a meal as soon as possible.
Questions about your diet?
Registered dietitians are available to discuss your physician-prescribed diet. Please notify your nurse or call ext. 1552 if you would like education on your diet or if you want to discuss special dietary needs.
You may also schedule a complimentary outpatient visit with a registered dietitian after you leave the hospital to discuss the diet you should follow after discharge. Please ask your nurse for more details.
