KRMC urges those with COVID symptoms to use telemedicine

Kingman, Arizona, November 25, 2020 – As cases of COVID-19 rise in our community and nationwide, Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) urges those with mild symptoms of COVID-19 to consult a provider through its telemedicine platform, Care Anywhere.

Using Care Anywhere, a medical provider can assess your symptoms and condition with an online consultation. Patients can stay home and avoid exposing others while a provider determines the appropriate treatment. If necessary, the provider will order COVID-19 testing, and the patient will receive instructions to complete the test.

KRMC Care Anywhere currently offers telemedicine visits at no cost to the patient, and no insurance is required. To consult a provider, visit krmc.zipnosis.com.

Anyone with severe symptoms or trouble breathing should call 911 or go to the emergency room.

KRMC asks for the continued support of our community in limiting the spread of illness. Please take appropriate safety measures, including the following:

  • Avoid crowds and large gatherings
  • Wear a mask when you are around others
  • Maintain a distance of 6 feet from others when possible
  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
