Tessa E. Baumgardner, DO

Dr. Tessa Baumgardner is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pediatrics. She has practiced with KRMC since February, 2016, working full-time as an anesthesiologist and filling in as available at Joshua Tree Pediatrics. Dr. Baumgardner attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. She then completed residencies in both areas of interest at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She went on to work briefly as an attending physician at the UF Health Shands Hospital before beginning her practice at KRMC.

Dr. Baumgardner says she enjoys the variation in her two specialties. "I love working with kids, but I also enjoy the technical part of working in anesthesia." Of her patient care philosophy, she says, "I try to make my patients as comfortable as possible while giving the best, safest care I can provide."
