Lyanna J. Lafredo, MD

Dr. Lyanna LaFredo is a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics. She provides preventive care and treats illness and injury in infants, children, and adolescents. Before coming to Kingman, Dr. LaFredo practiced in Columbia, South Carolina. In addition to providing preventative care and routine health maintenance, she is highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical problems in children ages 0 to 21. She has a special interest in the medical care of infants, beginning with prenatal consultations with expectant mothers. She also excels at treating behavioral issues in children, including those with ADHD and autism. Her approach to children's medical care is to 'give special attention to serious issues, but to make seeing a doctor as fun as possible for the child.' She works closely with the child's parents or guardians to inform them of choices and involve them in every medical decision. She adds that she has 'a deep respect for the parents' cultural beliefs and authority when it comes to the medical care of their child.'
