Linda Williams, PHARMD
Kingman, AZ 86401
As an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist, Dr. Williams has the advanced knowledge to focus on the special needs of patients who have chronic health conditions taking multiple medications. She uses her expertise to promote health and wellness by providing medication management and engaging patients through education.
Dr. Williams has been a member of the Kingman community since 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Afterwards, she completed an Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency with the Veterans Affairs Health Care System located in Lincoln, NE. Her next step led to the southwest, where the opportunity to create and expand ambulatory care pharmacy services at Kingman Regional Medical Center was found. She was instrumental in the development of the KRMC Disease Management Clinic (DMC), which opened its doors in 2015. This referral-only clinic is managed by Dr. Williams, who works closely with certain KRMC providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Dr. Williams emphasizes the importance of patients understanding their chronic disease, how each medication works to manage it, and how small incremental changes in lifestyle can make a big difference in helping to control it. She says "the key to successfully meeting goals is through education, which can create patient empowerment and active engagement in the patient's own healthcare."
