PEDIATRICS

At KRMC, our pediatric department is focused on the needs of children and their families. Our trained pediatric staff recognize that children are not just “small adults” and they require more than simply high quality health care. KRMC has a trained staff of pediatricians and nurses that understand and cater to the needs of children. They pay special attention to the developmental, emotional and physical needs of each child to facilitate the healing process. Taking care of sick children means caring for the entire family and we encourage parents to be an active part of our health care team. Parents are encouraged to spend time with their children during hospitalization, even staying overnight. Our mission is to provide a healing environment and the best care possible for children and their families.
