New Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist Comes to Kingman Kingman Regional Medical Center is thrilled to welcome Dr. James Rebik to Kingman. As an accomplished Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist (ENT), he will fill a vital need in the community. Dr. Rebik studied medicine at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and completed his residency training at the college’s medical center. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology- Head/Neck Surgery in Otolaryngology/ Facial Plastic Surgery. After completing his residency in 1990, he served at the U.S. Army Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany and then at another Army Hospital at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. After leaving the Army, he practiced at the Albert Lea Medical Center in Minnesota, which is part of the Mayo Health System. Most recently, he was in solo practice in Altus, Oklahoma. Dr. Rebik and his wife of 28-years, Sue Ellyn, are the parents of a 22 year-old daughter, Kristin and 20-year-old twin sons, Bobby and Jon. Kristin is a first-year medical student at the University of North Texas. The twins are both in the Army and are currently stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. Sue Ellyn has recently returned to school and is a nursing student at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. Dr. Rebik says that he looked at opportunities in many different communities and decided on Kingman because of the need here for an ENT and because of the friendliness of hospital staff and the community. With the philosophy of “treating one person at a time,” Dr. Rebik hopes to eventually grow to a two-physician practice in Kingman. Also, sometime in the future he would like to add an audiologist and start a balance center to treat patients with inner ear problems. Dr. Rebik will begin seeing patients at the Kingman ENT Office at
3116 Stockton Hill Road in January, 2008. To schedule an appointment,
his office can be reached at (928)753-3443.
