KRMC Participates
in Yoplait's Save Lids to Save Lives Program
The KRMC Nutrition Services Department is participating in Yoplait's "Save Lids to Save Lives" program from September through mid-November. For each pink Yoplait lid received, Yoplait will donate 10 cents, up to $1.5 million, to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.
A large container is provided in the KRMC cafeteria where anyone can drop off the lids. The KRMC Nutrition Services Department is coordinating the collection and will send in the lids at the end of the promotion. The nationwide program has raised more than $17 million in the past and the KRMC staff is excited to participate in the event this year.
