Surgery Suite Dedicated to Dr. Thabit at KRMC On Tuesday, December 11th, members of the Kingman Regional Medical Center staff dedicated a surgical suite in memory of Dr. George Thabit, Jr. Dr. Thabit was a general and vascular surgeon who practiced at Kingman Regional Medical Center from 1994 until his death in June of 2001. He was a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. He also interned at Charity Hospital of Louisiana in New Orleans and Philadelphia General Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Thabit was an
avid golfer who was loved and admired by his colleagues, patients
and friends for his sense of
humor, energy and passion for life. “Dr. Thabit was my mentor
and like a father to me,” said Dr. Vinod Singh, Dr.Thabit’s
partner. “His passing was such a great loss. I felt it important
that we memorialize his time at KRMC by dedicating this surgical
suite to him.”
