KRMC Celebrates the Opening of Its New Cardiovascular Center

Kingman Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of its new Cardiovascular Center! The 12,400 square foot expansion on the north side of the main hospital includes two state-of-the-art digital cardiac catheterization rooms with dedicated pre and post procedure areas with space for a third room to accommodate future expansion.

The Cardiovascular Center continues to provide advanced services which include diagnostic and interventional procedures treating blocked blood vessels in the heart, kidneys, abdomen and legs. Blockages are opened with balloons and stents to restore blood flow. Implants of a variety of pacemakers are also performed at the Center.

The original catheterization lab at Kingman Regional Medical Center was opened in 1994, with an expansion in 2000. Over 2,000 patients seen during 2006 in the old catheterization lab, so physicians and staff are very excited to move into the new larger facility. The new Cardiovascular Center opened its doors to its first patients on November 13th.

An open house and ribbon cutting will be held on Tuesday, December 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Music will be provided by the Mohave Community Choir and refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to join the staff of Kingman Regional Medical Center as we celebrate this wonderful new addition to our community.
