Enroll for a Free Mammogram and Well-Woman Exam,
Thursday through Saturday at the Kingman Wal-Mart

Representatives from the Well Woman Healthcheck Program (WWHP) will be at Wal-Mart in Kingman from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 27-29 to enroll uninsured and underinsured women in the Well Woman Healthcheck Program. This program offers free well-woman exams and screening for breast and cervical cancer.

Women who qualify for WWHP include those who do not have insurance or those who are underinsured (deductible is more than $100 or insurance does not cover a mammogram) and have a household income that is between 101% and 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

The free mammograms will be provided by Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) at its multi-million dollar Imaging Center. This is part of the hospital’s new Catch it Early program to provide underserved women with free breast cancer screening using advanced imaging technologies. The Catch it Early program is funded in part by a grant from the Phoenix Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The Well Woman Healthcheck Program also includes a free clinical breast exam, pelvic exam, and Pap test, which are provided locally by several Kingman healthcare providers.
