EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Our
Emergency Department is available to meet a variety of needs, from
non-life threatening situations when your doctor is not available,
to the worst
community disaster. KRMC’s 
Emergency Department has worked
diligently to make sure we are ready when you need us. We have steadily
increased
our staff to meet the community’s
need. We staff our Emergency Department with an experienced Emergency
Physician, a Physician Assistant
or Nurse Practitioner, and ACLS and PALS certified nurses. We have
expanded our department from 12 to 20 beds in an attempt to meet
emergency needs
in a timely manner. We also have a “Fast Track” for those
patients who present with non-acute situations.
KRMC is honored to be the only rural hospital in Arizona to have an
emergency medicine residency program, where the physicians are trained
to deliver safe, timely and effective emergency care. This means the
ER physicians and the residency physicians are continually researching,
lecturing and learning the how to deliver the most effective emergency
medicine.
