Jeanne Marie Fusco is our September Employee of the Month.

She is an Occupational Therapist who works in the Inpatient Therapy Department. She started working as a per diem employee at KRMC in January 2004. She loved working here so much that in October 2005 she went full time. She enjoys the variety of people that she meets on a daily basis and states that having the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of people is her driving force.

Jeanne is originally from New Jersey. While she enjoys going back east to visit, she and her husband Mark chose Kingman because they wanted a smaller town atmosphere to raise their family. She has two children, Lucas and Gabriela, as well as three older stepdaughters. The family enjoys riding ATV’s and traveling together – Jeanne hopes to get to Alaska and Hawaii in the near future.

Jeanne has written articles for the Kingman Daily Miner and the KRMC employee newsletter to help educate staff and the general public about therapy issues. She enjoys taking part in extra activities such as decorating the Hospital for holidays, volunteering at health fairs and promoting occupational therapy wherever she goes. She takes an active role in her church and her children’s school, enjoys singing, quilting, poetry and learning. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree online at Boston University.

Jeanne’s coworkers enjoy her smile and sense of humor. She is always encouraging to both staff and patients, and works cooperatively with social services and nursing staff. She takes the extra time to hold a hand, lends a shoulder to lean on, and ensures that patients are as pain free as possible before and after treatment.

Jeanne is a wonderful role model for all of our staff at KRMC and deserves the recognition as employee of the month!
