Jean Hodges, an RN in the Surgery Department is the Employee of the Month for June. Her fellow staff members say that Jean is a committed, team player who knows the importance of one of KRMC’s mantras, “Be There”. She exemplifies the fish philosophy with her attitude and ability to take responsibility and helping others get the job done. “She is always there when we need her,” stated one co-worker. Twice in recent months she has come in to the department in the middle of the night to help perform special procedures. She asks everyone if they need help and is always willing to serve as a resource to other staff members. Her co-workers also refer to her as one of the most compassionate team members. Her patient advocacy begins before a procedure and continues until discharge. Jean says her first instinct is to serve and it shows in her treatment of patients and co-workers. She loves working at KRMC, too. Jean moved to Kingman about 16 years ago. She is married and has four children at home and two stepchildren out of state. Three dachshunds and a few cats complete her family circle and they all spend quite a bit of time playing. In quieter moments, Jean enjoys crocheting, needlepoint, sewing and gardening. Congrats
to Jean on being chosen as employee of the month and thanks
for your service!
