Employee of the Month—Robyn Allen

Registered nurse Robyn Allen has been named the employee of the month for January. Robyn has cared for patients in the Intensive Care Unit at KRMC since 1978.
Over her long career here, Robyn has consistently exemplified professionalism in her work. Demonstrating strong clinical skills, she is devoted to her patient’s comfort and care. She also trains student nurses every semester to continue the traditions and quality care she has given over the years.

According to her associates, she is genuinely upbeat, positive, and willing to help out whenever and wherever she’s needed. She is quick to encourage patients, families, and coworkers when they are upset or stressed and often offers thoughtful gestures like cheering them with a card or cake.

She studied nursing at Northern Arizona University, where she received her Associate Degree. She went on to receive her Bachelors of Nursing through the University of Phoenix. Among her many accomplishments— in 1996, she was named “Nurse of the Year” for the northwestern region of Arizona.

She and her son, Toby (10) share a home in Kingman with her brother, Reed and his son Hunter (10). Together they enjoy a variety of activities including boating, fishing, hiking, and exploring ghost towns. She also plays trumpet in the Mohave Community Orchestra.

Congratulations Robyn and thank you for your many years of skilled and compassionate service at KRMC!
