kingman regional medical center's emergency department
At KRMC, our Emergency Department is ready to meet a variety of needs, from non-life threatening situations when your doctor is not available, to the worst community disaster
KRMC'S Emergency Department works diligently to make certain we are ready when you need us. We have steadily increased our staff and enhanced our facilities to meet our community's emergency care needs.
Reduced wait times while offering high-quality emergency care
During an emergency, every second counts. As such, we continually work to improve the time it takes to see and care for every patient who comes to the KRMC emergency room (ER).
We have implemented many measures to dramatically reduce ER wait times, while improving the quality of patient services. As a result, our patients spend, on average, two hours less time waiting in our ER than the 4.5-hour Arizona average.
And, even while the number of daily visits to our ER continues to grow, patient-satisfaction scores consistently rank the quality of our care among the top 20% or better of hospital emergency departments nationwide.
Skilled emergency care when you need it
KRMC's Emergency Department is staffed 24-hours-a-day with skilled and experienced emergency physicians, physician assistants, and nurses.
All of our emergency healthcare professionals are certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and in pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
Additionally, KRMC is honored to be the only rural hospital in Arizona to have an emergency medicine residency program, where physicians are trained to deliver safe, timely, and effective emergency care.
Our ER physicians are continually researching, lecturing, and learning how to deliver the latest methods in emergency medicine . As such, our dedicated staff continues to provide patients first-rate emergency care with compassion and commitment.
