Sungnam Joe, M.D.

Cerbat Medical Center, a division of Kingman Regional Medical Center would like to introduce Sungnam Joe, M.D., on of our specialists in internal medicine. He is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases primarily affecting adults, from the doctors office to intensive care. Dr. Joe describes his practice as, "caring for the whole patient. Internists handle puzzling, chronic and multiple illnesses. We aim to take care of our patients for life." Dr. Joe goes on to say, "when other medical specialists or sub-specialists are involved, we (internists) coordinate the care for our patients and manage difficult medical problems."

Dr. Joe was born in South Korea. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona, Tucson. He later attended the Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea where he received his Medical Degree. His internship and residency was specific to internal medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, New York. Before joining the Cerbat team he was employed in a private group practice for two years in Mesa, Arizona, Dr. Joe has been with Cerbat Medical Center since October 1998, where he continues to serve his patients and his community.
