Dr. Barbara Harris

like to
introduce Barbara Harris Feshami, M.D. Dr.
Harris is certified with the American Board of Family Practice
and the American Board of Holistic Medicine. She attended
medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Her
post graduate training in Family Practice was at Forbes Regional
Hospital in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. She trained under
the Women's Health Initiative in both facilities, which focused
on women's health.
Dr. Harris was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She moved
to southwestern Virginia, into the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains,
where she grew up. She also attended Virginia Tech, where
she got her B.S. in Biology and English, and a M.S. in Microbiology. After
graduation, she worked as an information systems engineer for
private firms in Washington, D.C. for 9 years before entering
medical school at the age of 34.
She has spent the past 5 years in a practice in rural western
Pennsylvania. She joined the Cerbat Medical Center staff
on August 2, 2004. Her practice of Holistic
Family Medicine combines standard medical practice with the
principles of body, mind and spirit medicine.
She lives in Kingman with her youngest son, who is attending
Kingman High School, and two dogs.
