With two hospitals now in Kingman, officials have set guidelines for transporting patients to each hospital’s emergency room based on the location where the emergency occurs (see map).
According to the guidelines, emergency responders will take patients to the closest appropriate facility for their medical condition according to the boundaries indicated on the map. These guidelines are for situations where patients are unable to speak for themselves or are undecided about which hospital to go to. However, people can always request to go to the hospital of their choosing. Emergency responders will honor such requests regardless of the guideline boundaries.
