KRMC is starting a Green Committee and we are looking for volunteers! The committee will identify, recommend and implement green initiatives for the hospital, as well as evaluate FISH ideas related to “green†concepts.
If you are willing to help research and implement green ideas, we would love for you to join us. Our first committee meeting is scheduled on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 2:00 in the Cholla conference room.
A representative from Waste Management will be joining us to discuss Kingman recycling options. If you are interested in participating on the Green Committee, please contact Cami Yarush at ext. 1609.
Green Tip for July:
Consider using phosphate free, eco-friendly dishwashing detergent. Phosphates are difficult to remove from waste water and often end up in rivers and lakes. They increase algae growth, which depletes oxygen supply, choking lakes and streams and suffocating other aquatic life.
