The Quality Management department would like to recognize Lisa Murphy, Patient Relations Representative. Lisa recently completed a Patient Advocacy Certificate Program.

This continuing education program at Cleveland State University is an intensive course of study in patient advocacy. Lisa’s course work covered 10 core competencies defined by the Society for Healthcare Consumer Advocacy (SHCA) including bioethics, customer service, conflict resolution, complaint management, and crisis intervention, as well as several others.

By completing this program she has demonstrated her dedication to improving the healthcare experience for KRMC patients and families. We are proud of Lisa’s initiative in obtaining this unique certification. When you see her making patient rounds, give her a big smile and thumbs up! Congratulations, Lisa!
