ACUTE HEMODIALYSIS
At KRMC, dialysis patients receive direct care and close monitoring by skilled and compassionate staff
Hemodialysis is a method for removing waste products from the blood when the kidneys are not functioning properly. KRMC provides hemodialysis services on an inpatient (hospitalized) basis only.
Receive Treatment Close to Home
At KRMC, community members afflicted with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney (renal) failure can receive hemodialysis treatment near home by an experienced nursing staff using technologically-advanced equipment.
Inpatient hemodialysis is provided Monday through Saturday 7 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. for scheduled cases. Hemodialysis is provided after hours, on weekends, and holidays on an emergency basis only.
KRMC's Hemodialysis Staff
Patients in KRMC's hemodialysis unit are cared for by licensed registered nurses who are certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support.
