Location

Kingman Regional Medical Center is located in Kingman, Arizona - the county seat for Mohave County. At 3,500 feet in elevation, Kingman is a high desert community, offering tourists and residents moderate temperatures and four seasons for outdoor enjoyment year round.

Nestled in the foothills of the Hualapai Mountain range, Kingman is ideally located for easy access to a variety of destinations. A pine forest is a 15-minute drive from town, while one thousand miles of shoreline on the Colorado River and the Lake Mead National Recreation area can be reached within an hour. Kingman is 100 miles south of Las Vegas, 180 miles northwest of Phoenix and a half-day drive to Southern California.

Climate

Kingman enjoys clear, blue skies and moderate temperatures. The average annual temperature is 75 degrees, with 300+ days of sunshine. A cooler climate can be found just 15 minutes from town in the Hualapai Mountains. Temperatures are 10-15 degrees cooler there and with periodic snowfall during winter months. Warmer temperatures are found traveling to the lower elevations of Phoenix, Laughlin, Lake Havasu or Las Vegas. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the predictable sunny skies, access to mountain ranges, golf courses and waterways including the Colorado River and Lake Mead.
